Days, dedicated to the transparency, is being celebrated at Court

By the initiative of the Supreme Court and UNDP the celebration of court transparency days are being scheduled in Georgia. December 18-30, the Chairmen of the Supreme Court, Kutaisi Court of Appeal and Tbilisi City Court will represent the annual report for journalists.

The tour around the exposition of permanent Georgian monuments of temporal and spiritual law will be conducted at Tbilisi City Court, including the signed monuments of Queen Tamar, Kings Solomon, Konstantine and Bagrat, King Vakhtang’s “Dasturlamal”, Arsen Ikaltoeli’s “Law on Big Religion” and etc.  

Konstantine Kublashvili, the Chairman of the Supreme Court, will host the pupils from the general education schools and those, who live in the region of Tskhinvali. The presentation of book “Child and Law”, prepared and published within the limits of UNDP program “Support of Justice”.  

In the frames of  weekly transparency, the following activities are scheduled:
December 18, Supreme Court of Georgia
13:00 –Visit of children injured in August War at the Supreme Court and meeting with the Chairman of the Supreme Court.

December 19, Kutaisi Court of Appeal
12:00 –Meeting of Konstantine Kublashvili, the Chairman of the Supreme Court, with the active journalists from the region of Imereti;
13:00 – Presentation of annual report to the media, Malkhaz Guruli, the Chairman of Kutaisi Court of Appeal;
13:30 - New Year reception for the representatives of media, Konstantine Kublashvili, the Chairman of the Supreme Court, and Malkhaz Guruli, the Chairman of Kutaisi Court of Appeal;
15:00 – Meeting of Konstantine Kublashvili, the Chairman of the Supreme Court, with the active judges from the Western part of Georgia.

December 23, Supreme Court of Georgia
13:00 – Public speech of Konstantine Kublashvili, the Chairman of the Supreme Court, for the pupils from the general education schools;

December 29, Tbilisi City Court
15:00 – Tour around the building of Tbilisi City Court and court room, which belongs to the jurors court;
15:30 – Tour around the permanent exposition of Georgian monuments of temporal and spiritual law;
16:00 – Presentation of Guideline of Tbilisi City Court;
16:15 – Annual report of Girogi Shavliashvili, the Chairman of Tbilisi City Court and New Year reception for journalists.
