The Chairman of the Supreme Court met the children living in the region of Tskhinvali
On December 18, 2009, the Supreme Court of Georgia hosted the internally displaced children from the region of Tskhinvali. The above mentioned meeting was carried out within the limits of “Democratic Tour” and the winners of competition, implemented under the little grants of USA Embassy, were taking part. The different age children under 20 became the winners of the essays and drawing competition called “Life After War”. On December 18-19, “Democratic Tour” was conducted for the winners. It should be pointed out that within the limits of above mentioned tour, children were informed about the working principles of court authority of Georgia and given opportunity to make tour round the building of the Supreme Court. During the meeting with Konstantine Kublashvili children were mostly interested in issues concerning the juveniles crime, jurors court and principles of appointment judges.
