One day of internally displaced children at the Supreme Court

On February 3, internally displaced children form the region of Abkhazia and Tskhinvali visited the Supreme Court. The meeting was conducted by the initiative of the Ministry of Refugees and Accommodation. The Minister Koba Subeliani accompanied children at the Supreme Court.

Children made the tour round the building of the Supreme Court, historical court room, hall of Plenum, Grand Chamber and also the cells of prisons where the prisoners have to stay for couple hours before the trial begins.

For more than half and hour the Chairman of the Supreme Court and the Minister of the Ministry of Refugees and Accommodation were answering the questions of children.

“These kind of meetings are of utmost important for us. We are ready to listen to future generation and find out their interests. I hope, that in a close future you’ll return to your native regions and continue studying there. In future maybe any of you become a judge and continue to implement your responsibility in united and consolidated Georgia” – stated Konstantine Kublashvili on the meeting with children.

By the end of the meeting the children were granted with memorable presents and brochure “Child and Court” prepared by the court, indented for the school age children.
